Introduction
The word Mechatronic is composed of Mecha + tronics. Where Mecha -mean mechanism. And tronics for electronics. This derivation is given by an Japanese company Yasakawa Electric Company. Mechatronics is not the combination of Electronic and Mechanical and even Computer Engineering.

Industrial Scope
Mechatronic has Wide range of scope in the many fields even in the present. but the scope of the mechatronic will be high in the future. there will be dramatic grow in the industrial sector because of Mechatronics and Robotics. Mechatronics scope are in the field below:
- Expert Artificial Intelligence industries
- Data communication and Networks
- Dynamic Engine &Mechanism
- Human Machine engine interface
- Industrial Automation process Management
Classification of Mechatronics product:
Mechatronic product are classified into four classes.
Class I Product :
Class I product are enabled by Servo technologies power electronic and control theory.
Primarily Mechanical product + Electronic.
Example : numerically controlled machine tool and variable speed drives in manufacturing machines.
Class II Product:
Class II product were enabled by the availability of Early computational and memory devices and custom circuit design capabilities traditional mechanical system with significantly updated internal devices incorporating the external user interface.
Traditional mechanical system +Updated electronics
Example: unalter sewing machine and automated manufacturing system
Class III Product:
Class III product relied on heavily on the microprocessor and integrated circuits to replace mechanical system. System that retain the functionally of the traditional mechanical system but the internal mechanism are electronics.
Traditional mechanical system +internal mechanics replaced by electronics
Example: Digital watch.
Class IV Product:
Finally Class IV product mark the true beginning of the True mechatronic system through integration of mechanical system and electronics products designed with mechanical and electronical technologies through synergistic integration
Example: photo copiers, intelligent washers and dryers, rice cookers and automatic ovens.

Mechatronic has evolved over the past forty-five years old has lead to a special breed of product for some engineers mechatronics is nothing new for other it is the philosophical approach to design that serves as guide for there activities certainly mechatronics is an evolutionary process not a revolutionary one sensing and sensor fusion will be the next capability of to be acquired by mechatronic system and already many mechatronic unit process rudimentary sensing abilities for instance modern air conditioning units are able to sense air temperature and humidity through separate sensor and fuse the signal through fuzzy logical reasoning.
